Refund & Cancellation Policy

ScreenTime Plus · Effective 26 October 2026

This policy explains how cancellation and refund requests work for ScreenTime+ Private, the optional paid subscription offered through ScreenTime Plus, operated by Scribedby. It does not limit your statutory consumer rights.

1. Subscription price and renewal

ScreenTime+ Private is offered at £2.99 per month, subject to the final price, applicable taxes and billing terms shown at checkout. Unless cancelled, the subscription renews automatically at the interval disclosed during checkout. Free access to ScreenTime Plus remains available without a paid subscription.

2. Cancelling your subscription

You may request cancellation at any time. Use the subscription management or cancellation link supplied in your Paddle purchase emails, where available, or contact us at [email protected]. Include the email address used for your purchase and, if available, the Paddle transaction reference; never email full card details.

Cancellation stops future renewals once processed. Unless a refund or applicable law requires otherwise, access to paid features normally continues until the end of the already-paid billing period. We will confirm the cancellation status and effective date. Deleting your ScreenTime Plus account alone may not cancel billing; please use the cancellation route above.

3. Requesting a refund

If you believe you were charged incorrectly, charged after a confirmed cancellation, experienced a material service failure, or otherwise want to request a refund, contact [email protected] with your purchase email, transaction reference and a brief explanation. We will review the request in accordance with applicable law and the payment provider's procedures.

Refunds are not automatically guaranteed merely because you changed your mind after using the service, but we will consider requests fairly. Any approved refund will ordinarily be returned through the original payment method; processing times depend on the payment provider and your bank.

4. UK consumer cancellation rights

UK consumers buying online may have a statutory 14-day cancellation right for distance contracts, subject to applicable exceptions. Whether and how that right applies to an immediately supplied digital service or digital content depends on the nature of the supply and the consent and acknowledgements obtained during checkout. We will not treat those rights as waived unless the legal conditions have been met. Nothing in this policy removes your statutory rights concerning faulty or misdescribed services or digital content.

5. Payment processing

Subscription checkout and billing are handled through Paddle. Your checkout confirmation or receipt identifies the relevant payment details and any payment-provider support options. If Paddle is the seller or merchant of record for your purchase, its applicable buyer terms and refund procedures may also apply, without reducing mandatory consumer rights.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our service develops. The effective date above indicates the current version. Changes do not remove rights you already have under applicable law.
