Can Xbox Continue The Hype?

There seems to be a lot of activity going on behind the scenes at Xbox. Since Sharma began her role she’s been absolutely on top of everything in terms of getting the brand in the right shape for the future. Taking on feature requests is no small feat when everyone desires to see changes. It’s about how internally these requests are handled. Many may think it’s all a bit of sunshine and rainbows with ‘winning’ everyone over. However, I see it as more than that. I believe we’re going to see a lot more great things come in her time here because she truly holds the reigns.

Nintendo Switch 2’s Opportunity

Who would’ve thought with everything going on in the gaming industry right now. The constant price rises. That it would be the Nintendo Switch 2 that would be in the driving seat to continue its momentum in console growth on its own terms? If there was ever a moment for Nintendo to ‘stick to their guns’ just like they did with a direct sequel to the original Nintendo Switch, but now for pricing. It would be now. Because effectively, the Nintendo Switch 2 is a year old and it has a lot more years ahead of it than its competition.

How much is a PlayStation worth to you?

Sony might be raising their console prices again. So that begs the question. How much is a PlayStation worth to you? I asked the same question last year. These are costs going up across all platforms mostly. It comes to a point where it becomes an issue for those that haven’t upgraded yet. They might as well now just wait until the next generation of consoles.

The ‘First’ of Many Xbox Presents

Stranger than Heaven seems to be getting a lot of dedicated love from Xbox.

‘Xbox Presents’ is seemingly a new format from the team in green to showcase a lot more from the game. It’s going to be interesting what it has to offer.

This likely also means that we’ll be seeing substantially more of these along the way with other announced games and we’re all here for it!

The first Xbox Presents will be with us on May 6th.

Forever Ago, Coming to Game Pass

If there is one thing I like about games. It’s them telling a heartwarming story. This is definitely on my radar.

This Xbox Partner Preview has been really strong this year. Xbox has really picked a lot of good titles and offering them through Game Pass is going to give them the relevant exposure that they deserve.

Dispatch is coming to Xbox!

My friends have told me a lot about this game. Of course, with it now coming to Xbox, it means I’ll be able to find out what all the fuss is about.

I know it’s been a ‘hugely popular’ game. Looking forward to getting the opportunity to play this one based on the positive feedback I have been getting.

Xbox Play Anywhere

A big feature of the Xbox Partner Preview wasn’t just the 14 Game Pass games on offer. Most titles are also Xbox Play Anywhere. That showcases the intent of Xbox giving players more ways in which to play and then continue on other devices. This is a significant perk for both Xbox and PC players within the Eco-system moving forward with how established this service is now becoming. It could also have a bigger significance going into the next generation.

Stranger Than Heaven on (Game Pass)

Having Stranger Than Heaven as part of Game Pass Ultimate is of huge significance. As we’ve spoken about before. This is something that Microsoft has needed to do. The fact that they’re doing it just shows the level of investment they’re putting into the subscription service. Of course, the price rises haven’t helped its reputation of late, but there is seemingly a lot of value going into that offering, as we thought there would be.
